Work related inuries are
Slip & Fall Injuries: This type of injury pertains to falls on wet and slippery floors, or trips over something
lying on the floor.
Overexertion Injuries: This includes injuries related to pulling, lifting, pushing, holding,
carrying, and throwing activities at work. Overexertion not only consistently been the number one workplace injury according
but is also the most expensive one.
Repetitive Motion Injuries: This type of workplace injury is one of those less obvious but definitely harmful ones
in the long run. Repetitive motions such as typing and using the computer for extended period of time can strain muscles and
tendons causing back pain, vision problems, and carpal tunnel syndrome.
It’s extremely important that you seek medical treatment as soon as you’ve been involved in a work related injury. Once the
injury occurs (or you learn of the injury) you have ninety days to file a claim for workers' compensation. The employer must be
notified of the accident or injury. If you do not inform your employer within ninety days you will lose your right to file for
